What data we collect

We do not collect sensitive personal data (such as health or financial account data) through the website. Any detailed financial information is collected later in the process if we progress your enquiry.

Responding to your enquiry

Lawful basis: Legitimate interests (to respond to a business enquiry you have submitted to us). We have a legitimate interest in contacting you to discuss your funding requirement, and this is what you would reasonably expect when submitting the form.

Processing your application

Lawful basis: Pre-contractual steps / performance of a contract. If you progress beyond an initial enquiry, we process your data to assess your requirements and introduce you to appropriate lenders.

Compliance obligations

Lawful basis: Legal obligation. We are required to verify the identity of clients and maintain records under anti-money laundering legislation and our regulatory obligations as an Appointed Representative of a Financial Conduct Authority authorised firm.

Lawful basis: Legitimate interests. We may use aggregated, non-identifiable information about how visitors use our website to improve our content and user experience.

Marketing

Lenders and finance providers on our panel, where necessary to progress your enquiry or application
Our Appointed Representative network principal firm, for compliance and regulatory oversight purposes

Professional advisers (legal, compliance, or accountancy) under confidentiality obligations

How long we keep your data

Enquiry data where no business relationship results: 12 months from the date of your enquiry
Client data where a transaction completes or is progressed: 6 years from the end of the relationship
Records required for anti-money laundering compliance: 5 years from the end of the relationship

After the applicable retention period, your data is securely deleted or anonymised.
